What I did
- Lattice-Boltzmann solver (D3Q19, TRT + WALE LES) in compute shaders, running ~8M cells in real time.
- Zero setup: any car mesh is voxelized, sealed and simulating within seconds. No manual meshing.
- Readable flow: live smoke streamlines, a scanning section plane, and force telemetry with convergence monitoring.
- Surface pressure and shear heatmaps painted on the body, read straight from GPU-resident fields at almost no cost.
- A/B design comparison: like-for-like audit, measured delta with uncertainty band, and a fuel/range estimate.
- Validated against textbook reference bodies to within a few percent. Yaw and ride-height sweeps run hands-free, and the domain re-fits for aircraft and watercraft.
